1. Overview

StringPal is a music learning platform that includes tools like LoopHearO (a YouTube looper Chrome extension), a metronome, scrolls (practice notes), and practice routines. It is operated by Dimitar Dulev as a personal project — there is no registered company entity.

By using StringPal or any of its tools, you agree to these terms. If you don't agree, please stop using the service.

2. Definitions

• "Service" — the StringPal web app (stringpal.com) and any associated tools, including the LoopHearO Chrome extension.
• "Pro" — the paid subscription tier that unlocks full access across the platform.
• "We" / "Us" — Dimitar Dulev, operating as StringPal.
• "You" — any person using the Service.

3. Account Terms

You can use parts of StringPal anonymously without creating an account. If you do create an account, you are responsible for keeping your login credentials secure.

We reserve the right to suspend or terminate accounts that are used to abuse the service or violate these terms.

4. The Service

StringPal is a music learning platform. It currently includes:

• LoopHearO — a YouTube looper Chrome extension with loop, pitch, and speed controls
• Metronome — a practice metronome with customizable beats
• Scrolls — practice notes and theory guides
• Practice Routines — structured practice sessions

The free tier includes usage limits. A Pro subscription unlocks full access across the entire platform.

5. Subscriptions & Payments

All payments are handled by Lemon Squeezy, which acts as our merchant of record. This means Lemon Squeezy processes your payment, handles tax collection, and manages PCI compliance. We never see or store your payment details.

Pro subscriptions auto-renew at the end of each billing period. You can cancel anytime through Lemon Squeezy's customer portal.

6. Refunds & Right of Withdrawal

We offer a 14-day money-back guarantee, no questions asked. This aligns with the EU right of withdrawal for digital services.

To request a refund within 14 days of your purchase, email [email protected]. We'll process it promptly.

After 14 days, we do not offer refunds for unused subscription time. If you cancel, you keep access to Pro features until the end of your current billing period.

All refunds are processed by Lemon Squeezy as merchant of record.

7. Cancellation

You can cancel your Pro subscription at any time through Lemon Squeezy's customer portal. Cancellation takes effect at the end of your current billing period — you retain access to Pro features until then.

8. Intellectual Property

We own the StringPal platform, the LoopHearO extension, and all associated code, design, and branding.

You own your content — saved loops, practice notes, routines, and any other user-generated data.

You may not reverse-engineer, redistribute, or resell any part of the Service.

9. Acceptable Use

You agree not to:

• Abuse the service or use it in a way that disrupts other users
• Circumvent usage limits or access restrictions
• Use automated tools to access the service (bots, scrapers, etc.)
• Attempt to gain unauthorized access to any part of the service

10. Disclaimer of Warranties

The Service is provided "as is" without warranties of any kind. We do our best to keep things running smoothly, but we can't guarantee uninterrupted or error-free service.

The LoopHearO extension interacts with YouTube. Its functionality depends on YouTube's availability and their platform remaining compatible. We are not affiliated with YouTube or Google.

11. Limitation of Liability

To the maximum extent permitted by law, our total liability to you for any claims arising from or related to the Service is limited to the amount you paid us in the 12 months before the claim.

This does not limit liability for fraud, death or personal injury caused by negligence, or any other liability that cannot be excluded under applicable EU or national law.

12. Your Rights Under EU Law

Nothing in these terms overrides mandatory consumer protections under EU law. You retain all rights under:

• The EU Consumer Rights Directive (including the right of withdrawal)
• The GDPR and applicable data protection laws (see our Privacy Policy)
• Applicable national consumer protection laws

13. Governing Law

These terms are governed by the laws of Bulgaria. If you are an EU consumer, your local consumer protection law applies where it provides greater protection.

14. Termination

We may terminate or suspend your access if you violate these terms. You can stop using the Service at any time.

15. Changes to Terms

We may update these terms from time to time. Material changes will be communicated via email or in-app notification. Continued use of the Service after the notice period constitutes acceptance of the updated terms.
